The True Bypass

Updates

  • I'm releasing No Hero Sound exclusively here on the website today. In a week or so it will be released on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and several other digital channels. The album is only available as a download at the moment, but a vinyl + CD combo is in production. It will hopefully arrive in the beginning of December.

  • I've created a brand new page for  photos. There's not a whole lot of photos in there yet, but I've prepared it with two albums:

    1. All pictures from the news articles – all photos and images from my news articles in one place.
    2. Cover art – cover art from my realeases. If you have a CD-R without a proper cover – print one! ;)

It's a little more than a month left now, until I release No Hero Sound. There's no specific date yet, but I'm aiming for the end of October. I've been working on the final fine tuning of the songs. It's a process called mastering, and my main objective has been to make them sound like a solid unit. These songs were recorded in various locations and with different stuff, between 2002 and 2008, so they don't exactly sound the same. I'm really happy with the outcome of the mastering though. I've used Apple's Logic Pro for the sound tweaks, and DDP Creator from Sonoris to create the final product that I will send to the duplications plant. This is my first time doing this whole thing on my own. I'm really hoping that I haven't missed any details... Keep your fingers crossed! :)

  • ... It's The Claw!" Easy now, I'm not going to get Medieval on your ass. Just wanted to let you know why I'm being so quiet. I'm trying to figure out how to use these finger picks. It's all I can think of at the moment. Should be preparing the album release, but this... This is really hard! Any experience from these out there?

  • It's already September, and the air has started to cool off where I am in Sweden. I like that. Sure, summer's great with all things "summery", but as the cold sweeps in something comes alive in me. Autumn usually is an inspirational peak for me. I think that it has something to do with the idea of everything starting over. "Let's break down all this lively, pastel, fun... and deal with what's on the inside. Fall down, rise up, and come back even stronger!". That's whats going on in my head. It's dramaturgy like in the movies. I like movies.
